Welcome to the Quantum Condensed Matter group

The Quantum Condensed Matter group at the University of Texas at Austin is led by Dr. Edoardo Baldini. Our research is driven by the goal to discover and manipulate novel phases of matter with exotic quantum functionalities in advanced materials. To tackle this challenge, we develop sensitive spectroscopy tools and nonequilibrium control schemes based on ultrashort laser pulses.
